What is 'BATTERY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM' (BMS) ?
Re-chargable battery (in an Emergency Light) is required to be charged and discharged at regular intervals for the chemical in the bettery to remain active in order to get charged fully.  In a conventional Emergency Light this has to be done manually by the user.  However 'BATTERY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (BMS) in 'Pulsmatik' model with intelligent circuity does this function on its own religiously without fail.  This user friendly system also monitors battery voltage while on backup operation and cuts the battery 'off' before battery voltage reaches an unsafe low level - thus preventing deep discharging.  This is necessary since discharging below a threshold level may make the battery inactive permanently.  This unique feature is introduced for the first time in India by Numatik with corporate sector's need in mind.
